Enforcement of a Foreign Judgment
in England & Wales
I have a Foreign Judgment against a debtor
You have been to court in a foreign country and obtained a monetary Court Order. If the judgment is from an EU country, Iceland, Norway, or Switzerland then see our European Judgment Enforcement page.
The debtor is residing in England or Wales and has not paid.
How do I enforce the Foreign Judgment?
Foreign judgments must be registered with the High Court before enforcement can be undertaken. Registration is a significant process requiring specialist legal advice.
Frank G Whitworth has partnered with a leading legal firm to provide a complete service to register the judgment and then enforce the judgment.
The cost of the service is dependant on the type of judgment, the country of origin and the date of the judgment.
When enforcement is successful some of the costs to you (the claimant) are able to be recovered from the debtor.
